Entries are now open for the Top O’ Texas Kid Pony Show and Jr. Rodeo scheduled for Saturday July 22nd. Entries are due by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11th. Late entries will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. July 18th, with an added $15 late fee. The Kid Pony Show will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Jr. Rodeo starting at 7:00 p.m.
The Mutton Bustin Extravaganza is returning to the Top O’ Texas rodeo for the eighth year. This extremely popular event will be held during the barbecue on Friday, August 11th, at 5:30 p.m. An earlier starting time may be implemented depending upon the number of entries received. The Top 10 finishers on Friday will advance to the Finals to be held during the rodeo performance on Saturday, August 12th. Sponsored by Wayne’s Western Wear, buckles will be awarded to the Top 3 finishers of the Finals. Entries are now open to riders 7 & under. There is no limit as to how many contestants will be accepted, however riders may only ride once as this is a single elimination format. Entry fee is $20 and all riders must enter by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8th. Birth certificates are required if not already on file from previous years.
